March: NH Jump$tart Coalition

At GSMS, we are delighted to announce NH Jump$tart Coalition as the recipient of our March "We Heart Local" donation. NH Jump$tart is a vital organization dedicated to promoting financial literacy and empowering young Granite Staters to make informed financial decisions.

Financial literacy is a cornerstone of personal and economic well-being, and NH Jump$tart's efforts in this regard are truly commendable. Through educational programs, workshops, and resources, they equip people of all ages with the knowledge and skills necessary to navigate the complexities of personal finance confidently.

Our decision to support NH Jump$tart this March was reinforced by a heartwarming experience that Zak and Gina recently had. They attended the state competition where six New Hampshire high schools competed, and to their delight, one of the participating schools was Zak's alma mater, with his former business high school teacher, Caroline “Masty” leading the team.

It was a nostalgic and rewarding experience for Zak to witness his former teacher in action, inspiring and mentoring a new generation of students. Reflecting on his own journey, Zak couldn't help but feel grateful for the guidance and knowledge imparted by his teacher, which had a lasting impact on his understanding of financial literacy.

Gina, too, found the experience enriching as she observed the enthusiasm and dedication of the students participating in the competition. Seeing the importance of financial literacy being instilled in young minds reaffirmed our commitment to supporting organizations like NH Jump$tart.

As we continue to navigate the complexities of the modern financial landscape, the work of NH Jump$tart becomes increasingly vital. By investing in financial education and empowerment, we are not only securing a brighter future for individuals and families but also strengthening our communities and economy as a whole. What’s better than that?
