We Love Local March Spotlight: Volunteering with Don't Trash Barrington
At GSMS, we believe that supporting our community goes beyond providing exceptional air, heating, and plumbing services—it means giving back in meaningful ways. Through our We Love Local initiative, we partner with local nonprofits and volunteer organizations that make a positive impact where we live and work. Whether it’s lending a helping hand, donating resources, or simply showing up for our neighbors, we are committed to strengthening our community together.
For the month of March, we rolled up our sleeves and joined the Don’t Trash Barrington Volunteer Group to help clean up the streets of Barrington, where two of our own, Zak and Mark, call home. Led by Deborah Clough, Don’t Trash Barrington is dedicated to keeping the town clean, and she was thrilled to have us join—especially since we were the largest group she’s ever had! While volunteering, we also had the pleasure of meeting Trash Lady Lisa, a dedicated Danville resident who drives to surrounding towns picking up litter with her dog, Rusty. Her passion for a cleaner environment was truly inspiring!
