The maintenance on your Weil-McLain Gold series oil fired boiler went great. The relief valve needs to be replaced due to a small dribble. The expansion tank is still good! I noticed that the humidifier on the central air portion of your system does not work. I recommend replacing it due to the current humidifiers’s age and condition. I attached an estimate to replace that with the same model. I also attached an estimate to replace the master bedroom shower valve. Thank you!
I performed a furnace inspection on a Lennox Elite Series gas furnace in Hollis, NH. During the inspection, I checked the burners, flame sensor, and heat exchanger, all of which were in good condition. However, I found a slight crack in the igniter and replaced it with a new OEM part to prevent future ignition issues. I also tested the thermostat, gas pressure, and airflow. The system is now operating efficiently, and the homeowner was advised on proper maintenance to ensure continued performance through the winter season.
I replaced a failed Viessmann boiler with a new, similar model in a residential home in Hollis, NH. Viessmann contributed towards the cost of the new boiler and a portion of the labor for the replacement. After removing the old unit, I installed the new boiler, connected it to the existing gas and water lines, and tested the system. The new Viessmann boiler is functioning efficiently, providing reliable heating. The homeowner was advised on proper maintenance to ensure longevity and optimal performance of the new system.

Performed maintenance in Hollis on a Navien NCB-240E combination boiler and tankless water heater. Descaled the unit using a vinegar solution to remove mineral buildup in the heat exchanger. Checked the inlet water filter and cleaned it to ensure proper flow. Inspected the ignition system and burner for wear, confirming all components were in good condition. After reassembly, tested the unit to ensure efficient and reliable operation.
In Hollis yesterday afternoon, I repaired an older Bradford White MI5036FBN 50-gallon gas water heater that was struggling to maintain temperature. Inspected the Honeywell thermostat and heating elements, identifying a failing lower element. Drained the tank, replaced the element with a new one, and refilled the system. Checked the pressure relief valve for proper operation and tested the heater to ensure consistent water temperature. The system is now back to full functionality.

When I got there, the only thing that was running was the indoor unit and outdoor fan. I then found that two out of the three wires going to the compressor read overload. I then removed the fan and found that one of the connectors on the compressor was burned really good. I cut back all three wires and put new butt connectors on each one. I then rewired the unit and put it all back together. The compressor is now running and the system pressures look fine. I talked to John and told him the system is 30 years old.
