The maintenance on your Viessmann boiler was completed today. We noticed that the electrodes and the refractory need to be replaced. We also found that the combustion on hugh fire was very far from what the manufacturer requires. We adjusted the gasvalve on high fire to bring the boiler combustion into spec.

Replacement of failed Complete Heat system that provides radiant and domestic hot water to the home. The current system is a fresh-water-fed system based on system design. We propose to install a high-efficiency Ideal heat-only boiler running off propane. The system will be converted to a closed-loop system featuring primary/secondary piping which will tie into the existing radiant zone piping. All existing circulators will remain in place with existing piping. Piping for radiant zones will be modified as needed to feed off of new radiant buffer tank. Azel controls will be removed and replaced with a Taco Switching Relay to work with the new Taco PC705 control. Due to radiant tubing not having an oxygen barrier, an isolated radiant buffer tank will be installed. This tank will feed the radiant zones with conditioned water for the zones. Using a 40-gallon buffer tank with a #14 plate heat exchanger and controls, this design will keep the boiler protected from any risk of damage. A 4

Upgrade existing system that serves the second floor with a new Lennox system. New lineset will be installed to meet the new refrigerant standards. Since the existing lineset is encased in the wall, we will use CoverGuard to run on the side of the chimney up to the attic. This chase looks like the downspout of a gutter and is a white finish that can be painted if desired to help blend. The new air handler in the attic will require a 240V breaker instead of 120V. We will also use the CoverGuard chase as our access to run a new circuit wire from the panel up to the air handler location. Existing programmable thermostat will be used for system operation. Our AirBear will be added to provide better airflow and air health versus the standard 1" filter return. The new air handler is longer and will require some adjustment of the ductwork. I replaced the outdoor motor and PCP board. I turned on the unit inside and tested operation. I recorded 120° air coming out. I cycled the unit off 2 times inside and once outside. Everything was operating very good. The client mentioned about having his on demand water tank replaced. Also, the client was thinking about having his furnace replaced in the main house. We talked about a steam humidifier and an advanced air filtration system. The client wanted us to come out and do a maintenance on the Lennox furnace in his house.

On arrival, the indoor unit was throwing an error code. The error code was related to the outdoor unit fan motor. I called into tech-support to verify what the issue was. After running through a few tests we came up with that the outdoor blower motor is faulty and needs to be replaced. The technical support agent also recommended replacing the board as well whenever a motor fails. The client asked about getting the parts as soon as possible since he has no secondary heat and rents the home out.

Client will build a "wall" for us to mount a unit stand for the outdoor unit on the side of the deck. This will be to help prevent any water run-off damage. Performed fall furnace maintenance on a Lennox SLP98V system. Inspected the heat exchanger, cleaned the burners, and checked the blower motor for wear. Replaced the air filter and tested the flame sensor for proper operation.
