We Love Local - Manchester Animal Shelter Return Visit
As we kicked off the new year, we returned to where it all began— the Manchester Animal Shelter! Last year, we proudly launched our We Love Local campaign with this incredible organization, and it felt amazing to come back and continue our support.
This time, we wanted to do something extra special. Instead of just a monetary donation, our team (our incredible Gina) put together baskets filled with the shelter’s most needed items to help care for the animals. From food and toys to cleaning supplies, we hope these essentials make a meaningful difference for the shelter’s furry residents.
During our visit, we met with Hannah, the shelter manager, and Amanda, the volunteer coordinator, who showed us around and shared updates. We were thrilled to hear that adoptions have been up and animal surrenders have decreased—a testament to the shelter’s hard work and the support of the Manchester community. Walking through the facility, it was inspiring to see the level of organization and care that goes into giving these animals a second chance at life.
Of course, the work is never done. There’s always a need for community support to meet the ongoing challenges of animal welfare. Whether it’s volunteering, donating, or adopting, every bit helps make a difference for the shelter and the animals they care for.
It was heartwarming to return to the shelter, reconnect with the team, and see the positive changes they’ve accomplished. Thank you to everyone in our amazing community who continues to support the Manchester Animal Shelter and organizations like it. Together, we can make a big difference—one paw at a time.
