Today I completed a maintenance on the HTP Boiler according to the manufacturer annual maintenance instructions. I found the heat exchanger to have a leak. I am having the salesperson check the warranty. I shutoff the gas and electric to the boiler to be safe. I will come back with space heaters. I pumped the descaler through the domestic hot water heat exchanger per manufacturer’s recommendation. The color of the descaling solution in the bucket indicated that the heat exchanger definitely had some buildup! You should replace the boiler temperature and pressure relief valve along with the boiler hyvent. I emailed a quote to perform all of the recommended repairs if the boiler heat exchanger is covered under warranty .

Replace existing A/C unit with new Lennox standard efficiency A/C unit. Existing furnace and ducting will remain in place. Plenum will be modified as needed to accommodate the new indoor evaporator coil. We will re-use existing drain that runs through the foundation, per client request. Existing concrete poured outdoor pad used. Existing standard filter will remain in place. Existing thermostat will remain for control.

Replaced a Rinnai tankless water heater in a home. The old unit had a failed heat exchanger, so I disconnected it and installed the new Rinnai RUR199iN. I connected the gas, water, and condensate lines, ensuring all connections were sealed with Teflon tape and pipe sealant. After testing, the system is working efficiently, providing on-demand hot water.

I started off with washing the coil outside with water. I cleaned the outside with a soap wipe. I then went inside and I cleaned the indoor coil with dawn soap and water. I cleaned the air filter with Dawn soap and water as well. The blower wheel was dirty so I recommended that we should come out and deep clean it. The client said she heard a vibrating noise coming from the unit. I ran it in heating and cooling mode for about 20 minutes and I didn’t hear anything. I let her know that if she hears the noise again to take a video and call the office.
