Today I completed a maintenance on the HTP Boiler according to the manufacturer annual maintenance instructions. I found the heat exchanger to have a leak. I am having the salesperson check the warranty. I shutoff the gas and electric to the boiler to be safe. I will come back with space heaters. I pumped the descaler through the domestic hot water heat exchanger per manufacturer’s recommendation. The color of the descaling solution in the bucket indicated that the heat exchanger definitely had some buildup! You should replace the boiler temperature and pressure relief valve along with the boiler hyvent. I emailed a quote to perform all of the recommended repairs if the boiler heat exchanger is covered under warranty .

I repaired a 14-year-old Bradford White gas water heater in Merrimack, NH. The unit had an issue with the thermocouple, which was preventing the pilot light from staying lit. I replaced the old thermocouple with a new OEM part and cleaned the burner assembly. After testing, the water heater is now functioning properly and providing consistent hot water. The homeowner was advised on future maintenance due to the age of the unit.
